Wild Life in Brent explores Issues concerning endangered wildlife in Brent and what people can do to conserve and protect wildlife. The students visited the Welsh Harp to interview a member of staff at the educational centre about these issues.

The film is about how to survive in a new school in a new country. 4 of the 5 students who made the film are EAL students and have been in the UK between 2 - 3 and a half years. They feel quite strongly about how to survive when coming to a new school in a new country, especially as they had very limited English when they arrived.

They talk about their experiences, the different educational systems in different countries and how to survive in a new school in a new country.

This is the Video follow up to PMHS entry to the Origin 8 Music competition for 2007. The students meet twice a week after school at the CLC acquiring skills in creative audio, songwriting and music composition. The music video is a great example of collaboration between a music and art group.

The fun and catchy track was written, performed and recorded by the music students and the quirky animations and direction of the music video led by the digital art crew. This music video was produced with the help of Nick Hillel from Yeast Culture.

A film exploring the modern obsession with size zero and its affects on young people. Interviews and research uncover the reasons for this phenomenon and its consequences, and the film ends with important advice for young girls today.

Both music and video for Unseen Voices was created in a series of workshops that took place over January and February of this year culminating in a performance with live music to video in Brents annual Holocaust Memorial Day 2008. During the workshops Preston Manors Year 10 GCSE Music Group created from scratch the video, an emotive insight into lives of Jewish children living in the 1940s and then created via improvisation the sound track that was eventually overdubbed. The completed project has now been distributed to Brents 100 schools as a model of creative learning through music and video.
